Established since 2003, Hualong Fishhead Steamboat is renowned for its signature dish, the Charcoal Fishhead Steamboat and for bringing customers an unforgettable dining experience. The wide variety of delectable dishes and a homely atmosphere allow all diners to enjoy their time at Hualong in the company of amazing food and their loved ones.

Committed to serving only the best to customers, the team at Hualong believes in listening to customers’ feedback and constantly improving our recipes to deliver the standard that our customers have come to expect of us. Only the freshest ingredients are used and each quality dish is cooked by dedicated chefs. Importantly, we want our customers to be able to enjoy exceptional food at affordable prices, which has been our vision at Hualong since the very beginning

.In 2012, we no longer just want to be an eatery, we want to be a household name synonymous with great-tasting food, warm customer service and pocket-friendly prices. We upgraded our kitchen facilities, including all utensils, plates and freezers to enhance our culinary standards. An official logo for Hualong Fishhead Steamboat was created and used in all our collaterals to gain higher awareness and recognition. The official Facebook page and email address were created to help us connect better with customers. In 2014, we successfully registered and acquired a trademark patent for Hualong Fishhead Steamboat華龍魚頭爐.

  • We have been awarded a certificate for "Fine Culinary skills in Fish Head Steamboat" by the "Singapore Best Online Food Directory”. We always take pride in our signature dish and this award affirms that we have indeed achieved a high standard for it.
  • In year 2014, “Where to Eat in Singapore" presented us a certificate for "Excellent Food Award in 2013”.
  • In August 2011, we are proud to be featured on Mediacorp Channel 8's Sizzling Woks 3 ???? 3!). The highly popular TV show introduces the top sze char dishes from all over Singapore. This feature is a true testament to our passion and commitment in serving delicious food at reasonable prices.
  • Many food bloggers have also featured our dishes, such as japanese melon prawns coated with wasabibi & mayo and sauteed venison with red wine sauce in stonepot. Their reviews further boost our name and credibility as a must-try place for good food.
Menu Improvisation
  • The revamped menu took us about 6 months to develop, featuring new dishes such as Sautéed Asparagus with Jade Abalone & Conpoy, Salted Egg Yolk Calamari, Chef's Bacon Cheese Roll, Crayfish, Traditional Golden Fried Prawn,10 Pcs Abalone, Exquisite Lobster Platter and Cod Fillet.
  • We started serving starters like braised peanuts so that customers can start with an appetiser while waiting for the dishes to arrive. On special occasions, we serve Fried Fish Skin's or Honey Coated Walnuts.
  • To bring greater authentic taste, traditional Opeh Leaf is now used for our Signature Wok Fried White Beehoon.
  • We are selling our very own brand of  La Foret Hilaire France Red Wine. A very smooth Merlot Red wine with a hint of sweetness & soft to the palate, it is enjoyable even without pairing with any meat. We also offer the Brilliant Clear Santa Rita Sauvignon Blanc Chilean White Wine with aromas from apple & pears. It offers easy pairing with any kind of seafood dishes or pizza.
Service Standards
  • Our staff wear uniforms and name tags to allow customers to better identify them when their service is needed.
  • Feedback Forms are given out to learn more from customers’ dining experience, allowing us to make continuous improvements on the food quality and service standards.
  • All the staff have been certified in the Food Hygiene Course by WDA Singapore.
  • Extended opening hours to include lunch time from 11am to 2.30pm.
  • A phone line was installed at our premises to take in reservations and take-away orders instantly.
  • Payment system that allows for NETS, Visa and Mastercard payment was installed to bring greater convenience to customers.

  • A Privilege Card allowing 10% discount off the total bill has been created and issued to our regular customers. New customers with a total spending of $150 & above is also entitled to the card.
